As I understand it:
Dbacks kinda have to win today, unless Mets lose out. If dbacks win, will also have to count on mets going 1-2 after that OR Braves losing out. So if you’re a Dbacks fan, they better just win today.
Braves: if they win today they clinch the postseason because the Dbacks cannot pass them.
If they lose today, they must win at least one of the two Braves-Mets makeup games tomorrow and they are in. Braves are in the best position it seems like.
Mets: if Dbacks lose today, everything is in their power and they must only either win today or one of the play-in games tomorrow.
OR if the Dbacks win, they are counting on braves to lose, and they must then win both games tomorrow if they lose today and win at least one if the Mets win today
Okay I have officially confused myself. Tiebreaker scenarios are fun, maybe we’ll get one in the big 12 this year…
