I thought football was about being better than the other team. There is nothing on that team's resume that suggests they are in any way superior to BYU. It's true that we don't have any common opponents, but their 1 point win over TCU, which then gave up 66 to SMU the next week, a team which BYU did not allow to score a single touchdown, does not suggest that they have the athletes to exploit BYU's weaknesses. Their three-touchdown loss to Colorado, which had to beat Baylor in an overtime miracle on their home field, similarly does not suggest that this is a game BYU should expect to lose.

Obviously, matchups differ. Obviously, the transitive property of score does not guarantee victory. But seriously?
