Getting paid millions to watch a game? Having people talk about how great you are while you do nothing?

That would bring a certain amount of fear for me, actually. Because if you DO go in and lose, it all comes crashing down. And I would be worried- what if I am not as good as they all seem to think? I know I have lost a step with injuries. What if I am not 100% yet, I would rationalize. Maybe next game.

The thing that would PREVENT me from doing that would be a sense of duty and obligation. And as college football turns more and more into a purely mercenary endeavor, I think I would feel that less and less.
