Assuming the Padres close this out, Braves' magic number moves to 1 & the Mets'
remains at 2.
It hasn't happened yet, but on Thursday I never would have thought it would be the Braves looking to claim a WC spot on Sunday.
If the D'backs do lose tonight, the Mets could claim the other WC spot tomorrow with a win and another D'backs loss.
