I'm not sure if this is an AROD thing, a Kalani thing, or if they are of the same mind on it - But -
In the Sitake era (I love the man) the BYU offensive mindset is to to step off the gas, go conservative, predictable, soft, the minute you get out to two+ score lead. This happens every time. 100% of the Time. We've heard ARod actually say it this week.
The BYU offense NEVER puts teams away. They NEVER keep pressing and scoring. They ALWAYS stop doing what's working.
A Big lead to ARod/Sitake means shut it down, play small, play soft, and just try to hang on.
IT INFURIATES ME! I HATE IT! I'm sure the players hate it. The defense has got to HATE it.
Winning big is NOT a sin.
