And everybody was questioning if he could really be all that successful in upgrading the recruiting net and selling his vision to higher potential prospects to fulfill that vision and match up with his X's and O's IQ. Now with all the summer successes in recruiting and excitement stemming from all that, many are questioning if he can really coach the X's and O's that well.
I'm sorry, but if his greatest strength has been and still is withing the X's and O's side of things, then I'm ready to drink cases of the Big Blue Kool-Aid. Because if that proves true, BYU is not only poised to be top 5 again in conference, even with all the improved rosters, depth, and experience other teams will be fielding, but I think BYU can very well finish as a top 3 team this year. It's saying something when 3 of your most experienced returning guys, all who started at times last season on a team that finished 5th in the league, are highly likely to be coming off the bench for most of the year this year. (i.e. Knell, Saunders, Traore)
