8-4 or 9-3 are not ridiculous expectations and about in line with analytic sites. I have certainly become more optimistic as well. I really believed in Jay last year and he has even exceeded my expectations this year. I figured he could get us into the 30s in defensive ranking, but he is beating that handily to this point.
