only 3 teenagers in our house, it seemed too big with 7 bedrooms and 4 baths, so we downsized. We lost 2 more soon after.

I didn't have CB to ask and I never thought about grandkids. Very soon the new house where we downsized wasn't big enough to stage family get-togethers. Also, 1 boomeranged back with a grandchild.

With understanding now, we should have stayed in the bigger house. Luckily, 2 of the kids married well and have big houses, but they don't like staging family get togethers, so it's made it difficult. I hate moving and with where the mortgage rate has been over last couple of years I don't see us moving again soon.
