I don’t understand this. R&D is expensive. But once the R&D is done and the drug is being distributed, why is it sold at
A different price in the US than in other countries?
I get that socialized medicine makes the process of delivery a little different, but if a drug costs $50 to a consumer (or insurance plan) in the US, why doesn’t it also cost $50 to the government of the UK when they are providing it under their government health plan?
