RE : "Expose them to EVERYTHING you believe in the church" : Not that finances are the only thing that matters or..
anything but I've seen it stated that kids that grow up in a household with two parents are more financially stable than otherwise and with the church being very much about families that seems to suggest that most people that are members will be better off financially having simply grown up in the church. Being involved in a community that promotes good behaviors helps make your life better.

In the book Atomic Habits it states the following :

"One of the most effective things you can do to build better habits is to join a culture where your desired behavior is the normal behavior."

Financial success is obviously not guaranteed but generally speaking I think that it's true that simply being around other financially stable people caused you to be smarter and make better financial decisions. I think that a lot of member try to follow what Church leaders suggest by staying out of debt, living within their means, getting an education, etc. etc. and because a lot of members follow and listen then it becomes a cultural norm for new people joining the church to also follow and do.
