Some parents are way too intense for 1st and 2nd grade soccer. Like come on. It’s not that deep
When you guys go watch your kids sporting events, be nice to the refs.
Yes, sometimes they suck, but they are just teenagers most of the time. With me being a ref I have grown to respect refs more because I understand what they’re going through. I still express my feelings at refs when they stink. But understand what level you’re watching. It’s ok to disagree. It’s ok to think the refs stink. THINK. You don’t need to express your feelings. At least not loudly. You can mention to the ref your opinion but be calm about it.

I’m not trying to parent y’all cuz you’re all at least 20 years older than me. Just be thoughtful of others especially in youth sports.
