As a a small town kid I understand his feelings that way. I struggled at first.

The solution for me was to find a small group of fellow freshmen with similar background and irreverence. Fortunately, the BYU experience helped us each to develop strong testimonies. Those friendships have lasted for decades. I strongly believe that like most things in life, our choices ultimately determine our path and happiness, or lack thereof.
