No doubt, but ROI is non-existent, other than it keeps what’s left of the
conference intact.
Their media contract ends in 20 months. Given that most of their top brands have left, the new contract will provide them with less than the current deal.
It won’t be enough to operate, efficiently,?without financial input from boosters and state legislatures.
But I agree, their options were limited, and this move affords them some breathing room.
