Just feel bad because I know he would like to work a couple more years
Everyone getting let go is getting 2 weeks of severance for every year they have been with the company. This guy is at 21 years so that is why he is getting 42 weeks. Plus he will get healthcare through the entire severance. It is a really good deal. Just haven’t had to have this conversation before.
