I never cheered for them but I enjoyed them being at the top of the conference with us back in the day. Back when the rivalry was fun.

I just can't forgive the decade of smugness and contempt from their trailer park fanbase after Utah left us in purgatory and their fake doctor AD did everything he could to bury us.

Kind of makes it hard to imagine ever going back to the Lavell and Ronny Mac days after that.

Now that we're in the same conference again, my initial reflex is to enjoy seeing our schools together at the top of the conference standings hoping that somehow we can end up in the conference championship game together year after year, us winning sometimes, them almost winning other times ...

and then I think, "Nope. It's not 1998 anymore. They left us for dead. They lead the charge on the lack of civility. They're the ones who stopped saying our school by name. When they had the upper hand they had a chance to show grace and class, and instead chose to be sore winners. I hope their stadium gets condemned from a major poop accident and their sports programs gets cancelled because KWhit has secretly been running an illegal beta fish fight gambling ring that has caused the lives of thousands of innocent fish."
