I think Hawaii will continue to field major sports teams
They'll stay in the Big West for all sports and then see what to do with football if the Pac 12 and MWC are not options. They play in a make-shift football stadium now, but their other facilities are good. They have a great basketball arena and baseball stadium. The new Aloha Stadium is also moving forward after some hiccups.

Per Karl Benson conferences need a minimum of eight full members. Hawaii could become the FB only 9th school.
