Unfortunately, if you ever actually listened to him while watching the game, the picture he was painting didn't tend to be super reflective of what was happening on the field. Mind you - this was towards the latter quarter of his career. Maybe early on he was much more accurate in having his description match what was going on in the game. But towards the end, listening to him was awesome unless you were watching the game. Then it didn't always make sense.
