Meaning - when the OL is struggling overall, do they spend more time on pass protection or on run blocking? Or do they spend equal time on both?

Makes me wonder if it would make the most sense to spend a higher proportion of time on one or the other so that there's at least one aspect of offense that you can be pretty confident in. But that comes with the risk of the defense being able to focus on taking away that one element, and the team not doing nearly as well on the other. I guess the question is are they better off being average at both versus above average at one and below average at another.
