I graduated from BYU and ASU. Love both schools, but the Cougars have my heart. I'd wear my BYU gear on ASU campus, and no one ever said anything. There was only one time I even heard a negative comment from someone at ASU about BYU and that was something I overheard a bitter ex-Mormon classmate say to someone.

Also, when I was there, once a year, the ASU men's basketball team would come serve lunch to the students at the LDS Institute, which was always cool.

When they joined the Big XII, obviously most of the reaction was the disappointment that the Pac-12 had fallen apart, but I did hear several sports radio hosts talk about how great it was going to be for ASU and Arizona to have BYU on the schedule.
