2. Have you heard how many times the players, in interviews, express love for coaches and other players? It is conspicuously more than usual compared to previous years and other teams.

The love thing is beginning to matter to those players and while I think Hill is fully bought in with it, it started with Kalani. That has been reverberating through his fireside’s for years.

3. You look At Hill’s recruiting at Weber at it is MUCH lighter on poly players than on others. Not saying he couldn’t do it, I just think he’d have trouble beating Sitake with that demographic. Maybe Hill would do better with everyone else, I’ll grant that, but BYU has a competitive advantage in that arena.

So where’s the fiction? Hill likes it in Utah—otherwise he doesn’t take a job at Weber. Hill is fine with reduced stress compared to HC responsibilities. His health makes that a priority.

I don’t think it a stretch for Hill to pass on other opportunities for at least three more years.
