and UNLV LDS fans. They were long-time area residents, fandom was totally based on the local team, a lot had gone to the local college, and they tried a little too hard to act objective towards BYU to get along with neighbors. These were my impressions. It struck me strange that they were kinda indifferent about BYU or Utah...even though they were actively LDS themselves. I guess that's OK, to each his own.
