& we in the crowd went crazy in the come-back effort in the 2nd half. I went to every game in the '96 season, & I don't think any of our games that season in LES got anywhere near as loud as the crowd got that day (TAMU included).

It was so loud, it felt like your brain was being infiltrated. I've never experienced crowd-noise like that since.

And yes, we prevailed. So it was memory worthy. It might not've been all that glorious a win — but without it, there's no way Ty goes on to win the Heisman.
