In addition to recognizing them on the field and playing Kstate again, there was a lot of nods to the 1996 team. Little things like the jumbotron score graphics and font looking like they did in the 90s (go back and watch a game from the 90s, you will see what I mean), throwback colors, 90s trivia, etc.

Then crank it up to 11 with a huge, dominant, win over the same team you beat in the cotton bowl all those years ago, when they were ranked and expected to be at you.

Plus with was one of the most electric crowds I've ever been a part of, and the weather was perfect weather.

I can't imagine being one of the guys on the 1996 team, it must have been a surreal experience.
