So true - some of us are afraid to get behind an imperfect team.

We don’t have to be ‘Complete’ to beat many of our opponents. If you are uncertain, why not err on the positive side, the side of your own team.

My one difference with OP is that I don’t think it’s just about being right, I think it’s fear of disappointment. Emotional self protection - sorry to say it.
