sporting events with people that get so drunk they don't remember the events. I doesn't bother me that they choose to do that but it still seems like a weird choice to spend so much money to attend an event only to get drunk to the point of not remembering it.

Of course that doesn't mean anyone who drinks before a game is going to get drunk or that there is any issue with drinking as part of celebrating the event.
