Yes the name is a bit generic and not exactly the most creative (though isn't that a positive when you hear some of the kids' names around Utah?). But the name actually has hockey history associated with it in Utah. And the sweaters were classic & awesome. Had the franchise simply adopted the name from the get-go, everyone would've embraced it and there wouldn't have been so much division among the fan base. And yes, I agree that Yeti is the ultimate fad choice that much of the fan base is going to hate or be embarrassed by within 10 years. I would've been fine with Outlaws or one of the variations of bee names too, but overall the final choices were all very cartoonish.
