Utah restaurants can't find enough trained staff to support a Michelin restaurant. Even if you go to the most expensive
restaurants in Utah, half the time your waiter is some grad student who has never taken a culinary class in his life.

So if you're a chef with Michelin star talent... you'll pick a place other than Utah to open your restaurant.

The food scene in Utah continues to improve though.... but still has a long long way to go.
