I've skied Garmisch. It was okay. In Germany/Austria/Northern Italy I'd much
rather go to Kitzbuhel.
I've been to a few other resorts in Switzerland and France. In general, my experience is that they have more vertical drop than Utah and heavier, icier snow. Nothing like Utah's light stuff.
