It was clear Coach Hill knew this quarterback was limited in accuracy and that the WYO offense was limited in the ground game and prone to shooting itself in the foot (Bad snaps, etc.). Man, good you imagine if Svoboda actually develops into an accurate passer with his size and physical attributes. He could be scary good.
Hill did something similar for Texas Tech last year. He knew they could move the ball, but knew they would struggle to score and put the ball in the endzone, so he gave up yds in between the 20s knowing he could dial it up a notch or two in the red zone. Smart man.
Here is to hoping Hill has saved something special for K-State. We will need and we will need it to work.
