You can debate how much of the blame goes to each guy and I think most would agree that most of the blame goes to Retzlaff, but Kody definitely shares some of it for not adjusting his route or even attempting to make a play on the ball. DB was able to make an uncontested catch on the ball...there was plenty of time for Kody to adjust to the ball. We see Roberts and Lassiter do this all the time. That's just not Kodys strong suit though so he's probably better off in short to intermediate crossing routes where he excels, and let Roberts, Lassiter, and Phillips handle the go routes that could become 50/50 balls. If those guys aren't able to catch it, they DEFINITELY don't let the DB make an uncontested catch.
