How were they?

We played it exactly one year before they hosted the US Open. The starter told us that they had grown the rough and everything out to where it would be for the Open so that the USGA could come see how the course would look for next year. It played really tough that day.

Then the next year I got to watch a practice round there. That was fun to watch how pros play different holes that I was familiar with.
