Watched Kansas St highlights. A few notes:
Yes, the QB is very mobile and they made Arizona's defense look pretty bad. KState kept their defense off balance with misdirection plays where the D would bite on the RB flowing one direction and the qb would take off the other direction.

A lot of missed assignments as defenders were forced to keep an eye on the qb. The RB is good too. They did a good job keeping the defense off balance and overplaying/trying to fill in for others missed assignments. Multiple times they overplayed the run and got the ball thrown over the top of them.

The QB's favorite target is the tight end. Multiple times he faked like he was run blocking and then left his man in the dust as the defender overplayed the run. KState was really good at taking advantage of defenders coming downhill and creating huge holes. This may be why Trevor Matich is saying a blitzing, pressure D is probably not the best gameplan.

On the other hand, they almost lost to Tulane. Tulane played a more straight up D. and contained things better while showing that Kstates defense is beatable.

Tulane effectively lost on a bone headed qb attempt to avoid a sack by running 20 yards backwards with zero ball security. The ball got knocked out and it was a scoop and score.

Tulane almost tied it up with 10 seconds left, but KState got away with what I thought was an obvious pass interference in the endzone. The next pass was intercepted to end the game.

I don't think Arizona's defense is very good. Their game plan was definitely not very good. I think BYU can beat KState.
