3-0 starter against some pretty weak teams but 0-4 against Big 12 teams...I hope Jake continues to grow and progress but honestly if you are truly being honest with yourself, there should have been 2 or 3 more interceptions that game...I just wish he would protect the ball more and if that means sitting him down and watching Gerry come in and protect the ball then so be it...It was preached to him all spring and fall camp and yet here we are 3 games in and we are still turning over the ball way too much...this isn't going to fly when we play the big boys of the conference...they will make us pay for this. I agree though, rooting for a kid to get hurt is just plain stupid!!
