- 3-0 is a great place to be, especially with 2 road games.
- I still have no idea what to expect from this team going into conference because I really do not feel that we have played a good team.
- I also have not been that impressed with any Big12 teams in the game that I have watched in that there is no clear cut favorite to win the conference. This conference is completely up for grabs. I would not be surprised if several teams are 7-2 and there are some weird tie breakers in place to decide the champion.
- Love the defense and in the same breath I can recognize that the QB's that we have played have been pretty awful. I would imagine every QB that we will face in the big12 will be much better.
- I find it completely odd to me that Huanga was basically 6th in the depth chart going into the season. Yes I heard the "trying to redshirt him" idea from Arod and that is concerning to me on several levels. The two main ones are: 1. Play your best guys. 2. In the age of the transfer portal, why redshirt anyone that is good to play right now so back to point number 1 which is play your best guys. It is fairly obvious, even on limited runs, that he should be playing.
- We need to get our running game going. Jake is the not the type of QB that can open the running game with his arm so do we have the guys up front and in the backfield to establish a run game in hopes of opening up the passing lanes?
Saturday night will be the first test and I think we will know a lot more about our team after this game. LES should be rocking. It will be a lot of fun and we really need the crowd to be a factor!
