Backers show up like they did for SMU, we’ll be a lot more successful at stopping his run than AZ was. The closing speed of our backers is REALLY impressive for a BYU squad, so I’m with you - I like our prospects more than what I saw from AZ.

That said. Johnson is REALLY talented with his legs. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t still have at least 50yds rushing against us. If we hold him to that my prediction is that defense keeps us in a position to compete and win.

Their defense, though…. I think our line is really going to struggle. They got in the backfield a lot on both pass and run plays. AZ had a lot of bad penalties - holding etc. - because K-State was so good at getting penetration.
