Intervention Needed
I'm curious how this works...you'd need an appt with the mechanic beforehand
right? I feel like mechanics are always busy so I have to schedule when to drop my car's off and they have to keep it for a day.
I like the idea of having a mechanic check out a car I want to buy but the logistics have always made me hesitant

Do used car dealers actually let you take cars to a mechanic for inspection?

Any reputable one would be ok with that.

I would have saved $3000 dollars in repairs recently by doing that

If they won’t let you take it for inspection, I wouldn’t want to buy it
