The problems obviously continue, given the fact that the coach and the athletic department executives were fired for:
- conducting their own investigation of yet another complaint of sexual assault
- interviewing the alleged victim and attempting to convince her to retract the complaint.
- not filing the report (within 24 hrs of the allegations) until the alleged perpetrator was arrested, almost a week later.
Those are some of the same complaints that led to the 2017 DOJ investigation that resulted in the agreement that USU would right the ship.
