Savvy move to add only four schools at this point.
Good positioning by Wazzu and Oregon State.
If they do need to add additional MWC teams, they will now be in a position of power for negotiations, and those schools will likely have to come up with the exit fees themselves.
It allows them to consider AAC schools.
It allows them to be in a wait and see mode for potential ACC schools if that conference implodes in the next year or so.
Adding four strong G5 schools to Wazzu and Oregon State now positions them as the clear leader among the G5/G6, with an outside chance at staying P5 depending on if the ACC implodes and they attract the right castoffs.
