1. Tough game for Retzlaff. He's got to make better decisions in the pocket. Saw some good passes and some good QB runs from him.

2. Defense had themselves a game. Not giving up any TDs was fantastic. Love the red zone defense and the takeaways. More of this please.

3. Brashard Smith was really good. Provably the hardest part of their offense to stop.

4. Maybe more worrying to me than the QB play was that the O-line really could not open up anything for the running backs. Their pass coverage was pretty good but they've got to make holes for the backs.

5. BYU played a pretty clean game. Few penalties was nice.

Love the win. Double digit under dogs and we completely shut down an offense that was incredibly good last season at SMU. Lots of things for this BYU team to work on and improve.
