Last Saturday my daughter and I had the privilege to attend an event put on by the BYU men’s and women’s tennis teams. About 30 friends and supporters attended, along with Coach Holly Hadley, Coach Zack Warren, assistants and players from both teams. President Reese came by for a while.
It was fun to get to know these great people! We can be proud of the way they all represent BYU.
We especially enjoyed seeing the high level of coaching and play demonstrated. Highly competitive! They ran us through some of their usual drills and we played some actual games. (I was very shaky from my cancer treatment, but they went easy on me and let me take plenty of breaks.). We all had a great time!
Sometimes we fail to recognize the quality of our other sports programs. They deserve our respect and support!
Please keep both tennis teams in mind as you consider Cougar Club contributions. Also, The Royal Blue Collective is a good way to support the teams.
