Alternate angles for some of the Jake Retzlaff "under thrown" balls. (Spoiler...
They don't look under thrown).
See the link below. Full video is worth watching because they have a lot of alternative different angles from what we saw on TV.
The main one people talk about is the bomb to Jojo Phillips....see 1:45 in the video. Jake threw the ball away from the DB which was the smart move and Jojo had to adjust his route, which is probably what looks like him slowing way down from the TV angle. He may have slowed down a bit, but it wasn't much at all. Perfectly thrown in my opinion.
And the throw to Keelan Marion into triple coverage looked extremely dangerous on TV, but from this angle it looked like although Keelan had 3 defenders on him, they were all behind him. And once again Jake placed the throw on the opposite side from all the defenders in a place only Keelan could get it. So it seemed like another solid throw, albeit risky if he didn't place it correctly.
FWIW, PFF noted that Retzlaff had 3 deep throws and all 3 were "perfectly placed" according to PFF scoring and had "low chance of interception".
