I mean, not like specifically, but if the waves are small and you want to paddle
around for exercise and then paddle into a wave here and there to enjoy a ride then sure. But I've never thought like, oh yeah, let me use a SUP as a surfboard today.

I see it all the time. Not sure if the SUP's are specific for surfing though.
