Would go after him. I would try and put as much pressure on him as I could to test him.
It would do two things, force him to scramble and if he is not as effective that’s an advantage and also forces him to pass the ball under pressure
He is a competitor and an athlete so may bounce back fast but history tells us it’s much more likely it will take him a bit to shake off the rust.
