He was a gutsy runner and he had two NFL TEs that he went to constantly. Also had a strong backfield behind him.
The gutsy runner puts him in danger of injury. Those types of guys quite often miss time during the season.
One of his two TEs plays for Buffalo. The other is coming off of his own major injury.
Backfield has no obvious studs this year--it remains to be seen if someone emerges or if they can get it done by committee.
I am not going to discount Cam Rising. He is a good player. But he does get overhyped, he fills a savior role for the Ute fan base, and there are reasonable scenarios in which he doesn't replicate what he did two years back.
