narrators for male female characters, the vast majority have a single narrator (and FWIW, I tend to prefer it that way. I also don't like music, sound effects, etc. I am listening to a book, not a radio play!).
As Tominator talked about, I tend to vastly prefer good book readers over big-name TV or movie actors (or, even worse, the author). Narrating audio books is an art that overlaps many skills needed to be an actor but also has other requirements.
Having said that, there are some narrators who have done a ton of books who I really don't like (Edoardo Ballerini, Scott Brick) so it's definitely subjective.
