I really resist comparing Church Commandments with BYU Policy.
I just think it's a very false equivalency.
You can go to the Temple with a 2.7 highschool GPA, for instance.
BYU can have a dress and grooming standard that has nothing to do with broader righteousness. I think they just need to reconsider the wisdom of some of the rules.
