Kalani's job is to oversee the entire program and get the best coaches, trainers, and staff in place for the program to succeed. I've faulted him in the past for hanging onto Tuiaki far too long but that has been resolved.
IMO, Kalani has a very good structure in place now and I want to see how it plays out. I certainly don't want to start all over with a new HC at this point.
Not sure if you've noticed but comparing a basketball program to a football program is just dumb.
