The athletes are worth whatever the schools are willing to pay them as long as the schools aren’t colluding to pay them nothing.

I’d guess it comes out around 50/50 just like the professional leagues. Could be wrong but there’s no way teams cap salaries at ten percent when another team can pay just a little more to increase their win percentage a ton and in the process improve their brand and value.
