Athletes will share $2.78B in damages. A new revenue-sharing model is coming with new roster limits. And a new rules/NIL enforcement independent arm that will not be done by the NCAA.

Schools will now be able to pay or own NIL rights directly for their athletes. Schools can pay out up to 22% of the avg revenue that P4 conference schools generate from media rights and other revenue sources. That will likely start at $22M (and likely grow to $33M after 10 yrs) and essentially reaches a 50/50 split.

Athletes can still make NIL from 3rd parties. However, it sounds like there will be more focus on enforcement of NIL rules. NIL payouts have to be for legit NIL activity. The NCAA will not be in charge of enforcement (great!). They haven't agreed on who will handle that oversight, but it will likely be 3rd party entity. My hope is that this enforcement has some teeth.
