storage, defense tools, electrical tools (tractor/skid loader, farm machinery etc still petroleum), bees/chickens/limitless deer/turkeys, and solitude of a 1.5 hour drive to any city > 5k population be actual advantages preserving a family more than a month or two or would other needs or requirements limit the self sufficiency to a shorter time?
